Grindhouse and Genghis Kong bless us with the bouncy riddim ‘IRL’

The track starts with an amped sample before Genghis Kong jumps in with the chorus over a wobbly square bass and a reversed bell. The drum pattern has jumpy kicks, snares on the off beat and skippy, triplet hi hats. A really nice instrumental.

GK slaps the beat with catchy bars and a flow that falls in line with the kicks and snare. He’ states that “if you say Grime’s dead then you’re dead to me”, a bold statement that resonates with all Grime artists and fans.
